Everdawn - Kali - CD

EVERDAWN return with KALI, a striking new album that pushes the band’s melodic metal identity into a richer, more cinematic and progressive dimension.

Built on soaring hooks, expansive keyboard textures and powerful guitar work, KALI feels like a modern prog-metal answer to the grand melodic instincts of bands like Asia — polished, dramatic and immediately memorable, yet heavier and more adventurous in scope.

At the center of the album is Alina Gavrilenko’s commanding lead vocal performance: dynamic, expressive and wide-ranging, but never overly operatic. Her voice gives the songs both emotional depth and sharp melodic focus, while Boris Zaks’ keyboards provide much of the album’s atmosphere and progressive color. Richard Fischer’s guitars add weight and drive, Dan Prestup’s drums bring precision and power, and special guest Mike LePond of Symphony X anchors the record with his unmistakable bass presence.

Mixed and mastered by none other than Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Epica, Evergrey etc.), KALI is a beautifully crafted, hook-filled melodic prog metal album — ambitious, accessible and built to resonate well beyond the traditional symphonic metal audience.
